Born and raised in beautiful eastern Kentucky, I've never been short on inspiration. Writing has always been an extension of me, and there's hardly anything I enjoy more than taking a getaway with my imagination. When I'm not on a literary journey, I'm a busy wife to an amazing husband, mother of two bright and beautiful kids, and a project writer for a large corporation. I owe much of my success to my wonderful parents, who raised me in a loving Christian home. Growing up, our house was never a dull hangout since I had the company of two brothers, two sisters, and slew of neighboring cousins. The hills were our playground and our small Baptist church was like a second home.
I have always loved to read, but I'm a sucker for romance, and anything that is inspiring or uplifting. Admittedly, I am also a bit of a nerd, so an adventurous fairy tale isn't out of the question either. I began this quest for a few reasons: I want to pursue a career in writing fiction, I have a lot to learn about the literary world, and since landing a publishing contract is not exactly a quick and easy accomplishment, I wanted something to occupy my time and sharpen my writing skills.
